Congratulations Hecubah and Slayer.

I've been hunting for one for quite a while, still no ring. Got plenty of rocks though...

Best use for Small Rocks was to "light the way" through the Dark cave where you can find the other legendary item. You can make a walkway with them if you want by "dropping" them and letting them stay on the ground.

Super Lucky Guy here! Just picked up my RoLS - with only 123 small rocks!!! Lifted it off the trainer that blocks the path between the first room and the room on the right. Daaayum! Might be just about ready to go check out Blackwater now. Nothing much left to go after on this side of the world. Maybe one more level to bump my HP to 50 and stock away a bunch of bonemeal.

Thanks. I was pretty shocked. Didn't expect it anywhere near this soon. In fact, I just stared at the screen in disbelief, when I realized the trainer I just killed had already regened and was whacking away at me. I got this fear that if he killed me I'd lose the ring, although I don't think I would have since I'd already picked it up.

Grats! Im looking for this elusive ring aswell again, since my first character is doomed. Got about 400 rocks on my second character, so im not as lucky this time, not that i expected to be anyways.
Good luck on your ring hunts everybody!

If it makes you people with around 700 small rocks feel any better, I now have 5751 small rocks, and still no RoLS. I believe that is the highest number without a ring that anyone has posted, and many people have 2 or even 3 at a lower rock total. To make it worse, I picked up a RoL on my first visit to the Kazaul cave, died later and reloaded from my last save, which was before I got the RoL. Now I'll probably never get another one. I was just so caught up in the new game that I kept forgetting to save. BTW, I am keeping my small rocks from each source separate by dropping the Kazaul cave rocks in a corner of the lawn at the Kazaul entrance.

Wow, I was wondering if you got one yet.

That really sucks about the RoL, especially getting one first time through. I was kind of hoping I'd luck out and get a RoL or ElyR right away. I did several runs for the RoL, but those imps sure do seem to hop around a lot. I spent a lot of time just chasing them around so I could kill 'em.

I got my second RolS yesterday on my second character. Took only 666 rocks! Coincidence much? Wasn't as lucky as i was on my first character, but im still glad as hell. I'm level 30 now and only thing i can really progress is attack damage to crazy amounts or start working on def chance (Went for completely offensive character).

Greetings fellow adventurers!

Although this topic is not entirely dead, just about everything concerning it has been addressed and has become a helpful resource for all who wish to learn more about the RoLS. Before I officially unsubscribe from this topic, I wish to offer for your consideration that sticking it out in here long enough to pick up two rings will offer a benefit when using the Venomous Dagger to battle enemies on and in Blackwater Mountain. A 30% chance of a critical hit has been useful to me. Unless the double banding of rings is implemented in a future release, no reason exists (to my knowledge) to pursue a third ring.

I've definitely enjoyed the interaction and fellowship with those I've had the pleasure to do so through this forum topic, as well as the related (and sometimes unrelated) p.m.'s. I'll be spending most of my days to come in and around Blackwater Mountain. I look forward to exchanging thoughts and ideas with you under other topics. :)
