We have wife/girlfriend/spouse carrying competitions in the USA as well. It seems stange but it makes for a really fun time.

hmm nothing wrong with performance enhancing drugs I just believe it should be used by all (safely) so no specific person or team gets the advantage it was common practice in the 60's 70's until the untreated cases lead to side effects that could have easily been dealt with..
