Welcome, r4ndom! Please do contribute, the more, the merrier
Have you read the contribution guide?

So there is no difference in the GPlay and F-Droid version besides the ~12MB, right?Zukero wrote: Tue Apr 04, 2017 10:01 am FYI, the F-Droid team rebuilds all apps themselves. It's a great feature from their part, but it also has two drawbacks:
- They don't use the optimized build process we have that shrinks the APK from ~20MB down to ~8MB.
- They re-sign every app with their own certificates, so you can't update from Google Play seamlessly. Game saves are compatible though.
I generally look for apps on F-Droid, and if their comments do not state that they removed non-free components from the app, I install the original from GPlay. If F-Droid cleaned up some non-free components, I go with the F-Droid one.
I didn't check the license. Thanks pointing it out. That makes the game even more attractiveZukero wrote: Tue Apr 04, 2017 10:01 am I'm very happy that Andor's Trail is Free Software, and not merely Open-Source.

I'm halfeway through with the contribution guide. I hope I will get the setup running as fast as possibleTomcat wrote: Wed Apr 05, 2017 3:02 am Welcome, r4ndom! Please do contribute, the more, the merrierHave you read the contribution guide?
What you need depends on what you wish to contribute. If you are a coder, then you obviously need Eclipse or Android Studio. But if you are a coder you know that
Sure? I'm currently just using vim and git. The more basic, the more I like it. Hence I'm trying to code without Eclipse or any IDE (besides Unixrijackson741 wrote: Wed Apr 05, 2017 11:23 am If you are a coder, then you obviously need Eclipse or Android Studio. Is there a central "TODO"/"Current Work"-List one can look at and choose a task from?rijackson741 wrote: Wed Apr 05, 2017 11:23 am Before starting a project it's a good idea to PM one of the dev team to let them know what your plans are. I already have something in mind, what really grinds my gears. What about "Small notification only if found a non basic item"? This would give me some insight into the code and maybe some more ideas while codingrijackson741 wrote: Wed Apr 05, 2017 11:23 am If you are planning to create content, start with something small.
At least it's not emacsr4ndom wrote: Wed Apr 05, 2017 7:35 pmSure? I'm currently just using vim and git. The more basic, the more I like it. Not really. Depending on your favorite skill set, I have a few ideas, but no formalized Todo list.r4ndom wrote: Wed Apr 05, 2017 7:35 pmIs there a central "TODO"/"Current Work"-List one can look at and choose a task from?rijackson741 wrote: Wed Apr 05, 2017 11:23 am Before starting a project it's a good idea to PM one of the dev team to let them know what your plans are. Lol, it's a good idea, but someone beat you to it. There's a pending pull request on github for just this, that I have to review more thoroughly and test before merging, but at first sight, it looks good.r4ndom wrote: Wed Apr 05, 2017 7:35 pmI already have something in mind, what really grinds my gears. And I am happy to see AT is being developed again. After the update I started playing again and now somehow I am a bit addicted to killing wolves, ghosts and hunting quests.
