The glow of the Shadow guides my path. It follows me wherever I go, and aids the dangers against me that others might not see. I am Shadow, and Shadow is in me.
just wanted to say hello. Found the game through fdroid and loving it. Since a few weeks I am thinking more and more about open source and like the ideas of it, so why not starting to contribute to such a little piece of beauty? That's the reason I signed up.
Cheers,

FYI, the F-Droid team rebuilds all apps themselves. It's a great feature from their part, but it also has two drawbacks:
- They don't use the optimized build process we have that shrinks the APK from ~20MB down to ~8MB.
- They re-sign every app with their own certificates, so you can't update from Google Play seamlessly. Game saves are compatible though.
I generally look for apps on F-Droid, and if their comments do not state that they removed non-free components from the app, I install the original from GPlay. If F-Droid cleaned up some non-free components, I go with the F-Droid one.
If you're interested in open-source software, and discovering the principles behind it, I'd also suggest reading about the difference between Open-Source and Free Software. This blog post by Richard Stallman gives some important insight. I'm very happy that Andor's Trail is Free Software, and not merely Open-Source.
If you have questions, or want to discuss this further, I'll be happy to reply to a dedicated thread.
Finally, you're welcome to contribute! We do like to receive some help. Read the contribution guide first. The main area where help is needed is content creation.
