AcDc,
That's absolutely not true. I can assure you of that. Magic finder works the same across all legendary and extraordinary items. In fact, it doesn't even distinguish between one or the other. It's a simple manipulation of mathematics.
And again, if you're feeling frustrated that you can't find the ring then just move on. You don't need it. Was only added for players to have something to do between releases many many years ago.

New ring idea: Ring of the Roasted
Power: On wearing it, every five or ten turns, a cooked meat is generated randomly on the map.

That is not supported by the game engine as the cooked meat would need to be dynamically creatable on each map. This is not possible. It would have to be on a limited basis like the

Re: Extraordinary and legendary items
It may be tough and frustrating, but percentages work in both ways. So if you get the ring in 0.01% of your kills that means that in 99.99% of your kills you don't get one.
The percentage just tells you something about your average chance, in no ways it means you'd be guaranteed to get a ring after X kills.
With MF0 more than 13% of the players won't have the RoLS even after 20000 kills. (More at viewtopic.php?p=78509#p78509)
You are not alone.

And the good news is that you don't need one.

Re: Extraordinary and legendary items
I don't need one, I just REALLY wanted it. But I'm giving up on it because a) I'm disillusioned with the process, and b) I'm more interested in getting my character [named Angus Young] up to speed in the beta on the same level I have in the stable version so that I can actually get through the new areas and test things out. I'm getting stronger, but still not quite Sullengard strong. And I'm dying to see what's new with The Guild. I'm about to go to Remgard, or try to. Is there anything good that comes from helping Remgard instead of obtaining Marrowtaint? If I kill the witch, will the rats turn back into people?
