Will this be enough to make up for the nerf to the venomous dagger?
I don't understand. I'm not a venomous dagger guy as I was one of the many that sold if off early on. I am currently using the ELyR, but not having the critical hit will bring me back to the flagship's pride when 0.6.10 is released.
Just wondering if the increases in RoLS stats on flagship will be even with what venomous dagger used to be.

It is the critical hits that I love. IMO, the Flagship's pride is the best critical hit weapon in the game up until you get the
Dagger of the Shadow priests
Using the Jewel of Fallhaven will give you 3 attacks per round and with skilling-up the combat speed to its max will allow you to attack 4/round.

Thanks, Samuel.
I guess I won't be trying for a shadowfang. I only have 60 HP, minus 20 would take me down to 40, much too low for BWM, much less the new stuff (which I haven't been able to try yet since I do not have a computer to save my current files to, and I will not risk losing my character at level 70.)
It all sounds delicious, though. I can hardly wait for the "real" version to be get to the Market.

Should I sell all my gems before I upgrade, and start accumulating from scratch again? I only keep 100 of each in inventory, except the polished sparkling gems as a measuring item, but that totals a fair sum of gold to lose if they all become worth only 1 gold piece.

Or is the HP wrong? And it gives you fatigue besides, maybe. Who wants it! Please check your posting on this item.
I already double checked the source.
I also thought it gives fatigue to the monster and asked Oskar about this, but I did not get an response yet.

BTW: Who gets the first extraordinary item?
Well since I have already seen all the new content, completed the 6 or 7 new quests, and beat the boss, I have nothing else to play for.

IMO, the 3 new extraordinary items are not worth going after. Neither of the 2 weapons (ShaF, ChaR) are stronger than ELyR, RoL, Flagship's (having critical hit bumps it up my list) or the Dagger of the Shadow priests.

Now, lets compare the GoLF to the Guards Gloves:
bought in Loneford
Guard's Gloves GoLF
AC 3% 5%
BC 5% 3%
Max HP +3 +9

Depending if you like defense or offense will dictate which you prefer, but for me there just is not enough of a difference in the 2 to go grinding for the GoLF!
What do you think?

I think some of the new extraordinary items can be fun for just wandering around and killing off the weaker monsters. I mostly just see them as something to try for after completing all the quests, until the next update, although I have to admit the stats on the RoLS look really good.

As for gloves, right now I use the Fine gloves of swift attack which gives a 17% AC boost (at a cost of -9% BC) which still seems best as far as AC goes. But maybe the new RoLS stats can help make up for that - which hopefully I can get after I put 10 skill points into the extra drop rate.

The elusive ElyR is a mission. Wyrm trainers an apprentices are uncool taking a hit away from you. Never been through so many bonemeal potions and only have 50 or so weak posions. Glad to have the Rols to get me out of there. Also how do you guys put player stats on messages is there a quick way of doing this?

Click on User Control Panel (top right), then Profile (on the left), then Edit Signature.

See the high score topic on the proper format if you want to be included in that. Just another little extra thing on the forums to make the game more fun with some friendly competition.

I've been killing wyrm trainers in my efforts to level up, but I'm not seriously going after the ElyR until after the update and I've used a few (10) skill points to increase the drop rate. The Shadow of the slayer is helpful (if you have enough AC & BC) with the +1 HP restore per kill.

Wish I had read more closely the stats on the Shadowfang before grinding for it. Was looking forward to being able to inflict fatigue on monsters. What a mistake! I saw the fatique icon come up and realised it was poor Piggy who was fatigued. -20 HP and fatigue = Suicidefang.

Filled in a bug report as Oskar never replied to my request to change it:

Lets see what he says.
