Downside of permadeath — I had a new character at level 21, moving towards trying out these new quests, but got careless with HP while escaping the Gyanmart castle.

I'm on vacation so I didn't set a daily timer, but I seem to do much better in permadeath when I limit myself to 1 hour/day, because my attention doesn't slip.

Are you sure level 21 would be enough to go for the new quests?

It is not. Especially for permadeath.
Neither is Guynmart for that matter

Can confirm. Guynmart killed my permadeath-no_food-no_potions-monk at at level ~50+

Ah, OK. I was there grinding and poking around shortly after upgrading to .8.11, but hadn't yet opened "The odd coin collector" quest. This should be fun, thanks!
