That was what I was implying - obviously the quest has to be at the same stage, but he's always in the same place at each point of the quest.

The purpose that I'm trying to find him with another character because I think (maybe, I'm not that sure) I've wrongly replied to Halvor (when he's looking for the 'longer' bone). Maybe because of that, he can't be found at the Charwood.

Now that I am on a quest to find the softest hair I find myself wondering if I need to collect 10,000 samples of hair or if I am looking for a particular hidden source.
