There could be some sort of poison darts, which you could throw from long distance as well as short distance.. This would make good use of poison glands.

You have to sell a certain amount of poison gland to the person ur buying the darts from, and then you can buy poison darts.

I was actually thinking about all the rocks you end up with from grinding. I could see the rocks being needed in a future quest scenario, as an ingredient of some sort. Be it being needed to build or fix a wall that protected a village or even to weight down the murder victim as you slide them into a lake. Something beyond the normal potion ingredient/bribery angle most items fall into.

Your wall idea is a lot more altruistic than my "sack of rocks" weapon suggestion.

Well, I suppose if you have one of those quests with a good guy choice and a bad guy choice, it could be build the wall or kill the guy asking!
