I have been chasing this this so-called "lord" Geomyr more than two years... I cannot reach him anywhere and... after founding his "weapon" I am sure that this guy is just one more coward and politician;
"Geomyr's Legendary paper knife AD -10, AC -25%, move cost -1, Evasion +1"

Actually I think AT lacks of variety, besides BC there should be something like Dodge Change (avoid somebody because of your dexterity or agility), Parry Chance (deflect opponents attack using your weapon, should depend on eyesight) and spellsave (nobody in AT uses spells in fights, nor missiles like bow and arrows, let alone attacks from a distance that shoot over 2 or more squares, or area attacks like earthquake). Block Chance should be reserved for shields and some special cases... but maybe I am too much thinking along the lines of D&D...

The BC should be different between the different types of weapons.
-short swords 7 BC
-long swords 5 BC (heavier than short sword)
-club 5 BC
-knife 1 BC
-dagger 3 BC
What are your thoughts?
Nope, should implement three types of defense. Block is too general. Shield block, parry, dodge, maybe evasion (but that is defense against mental attacks, something which might be too close to magic). Weapons nearly always have an effect on parry, although some negative (try to parry a blow with a heavy twohanded weapon). In the game, BC is even used as defense against poisons and other affects, what makes it way OP and some beautiful skills like enduring body completely obsolete.
Edit, whoops didn't see Nyktos his reply. OK, thanks, will wait for the right time when the massive overhaul happens
