I think that if this was to be added that it should lower AC, as your slowly bleeding out and the world becomes fuzzy it would get harder and harder to see/hit your opponent. AD would also work, like the strength is slowly being drained out as you bleed.

Why not apply this to actor conditions like poison or wounds?

The poison fades after a few rounds instead of causing constant damage. -5 -3 -1 instead of -3 -3 -3. I don't know if this really improves the game, but it is worth to think about it. Especially as the time issue seems ill balanced to me: I would love to see one round in a fight equaling one round during free movement (6 second period). For actor conditions, but also for regen etc.
