so it would make them better if you repair them, but you would not have to!
So instead of a club (the first weapon you own in game) you would have a club with a spike in it?

LOL nice one, I like the idea of self maked spiked club...

:):)
But, in seriously... all starting items except the michaels ring is good in one use only:

Lol...
Blacksmith,"so, you want a spiked club? I see you haver a club there, would you happen to have a nail about your person? Indeed you do. Stay here a moment..."
Blacksmith disappears into a back room, and you her a moment of hammering
Blacksmith,"there you go, one spiked club"
Blacksmith hands you your club, which now has a nail hammered through it
Lol:D

I've noticed that our weapons don't become dull or broken so here's my proposal:
Every weapon has a sharp bladed percentage
every time you fight your blade lose sharp %
Once the sharp % reach 0 your blade becomes dull and AD is reduced by half and starts dull percentage
To sharpen the blade you need a small rock to sharpen the blade.
If the blade isn't sharpened before dull % hits 0 the blade brakes and is unused able.
If blade brakes you must bring it to a weapons Smith for repairs.
Same goes for clubs minus the sharpening.

IMHO I feel that adding wear and tear to weapons would be more of an annoyance than an enhancement to the game.
I would have to spend a lot more time traveling from my grinding spots to places that i can get my equipment fixed or sharpened.
