this all looks great, but to keep the possible combinations down its probably best to decide on one image for each equip type.

Ie.

Hat Image =
Shirt/Amour Image =
Necklace Image =
Weapon Image =
Shield Image =
Ring Image =
Gloves Image =
Boots Image =

that would create less variations to draw from the base image

Like queztions states the best way would be to provide layers for every part of the equipment:
1. layer: Body
2. layer: Sword behind his back or in his left hand (the bag can be removed then)
3. layer: Shirt
4. layer: Helmet
5. layer: Necklace
6. layer: Shield

IMO boots, rings and gloves can be omitted. (would be hard to spot a difference.)

So far we have:
1. layer: complete.
2. layer: 1 item (sword)
3. layer: 1 item (shirt)
4. layer: 1 item (cap)
5. layer: 1 item (red necklace)
6. layer: 1 item (round shield)

I think we need 3 or 4 images for each layer when we want to introduce this into the game.

Sorry, have not had the time to create new images lately.

That's right, I thought it possibly would be easier to create an own image for every combination, but it would probably really be better to create an own layer for everything. Sadly the cap I made does only work if we cut his hair :) so I will work on a better image for the cap

Yes I totally confirm this

I doubt it will work but I will try to create the chain mail Bornain :)

I am in favor of anything that covers or cuts, or combs, or otherwise prevents the "porqupine cut" hairdo he has now from showing. As fond as I am of the little guy, I am really, really glad he is getting a makeover. Great job! +1,000

No need to. We can use the hair as a "cap" too. ;)

Creation Progress is sadly getting pretty slow lately, but I'm glad I can introduce a new weapon, the hammer :)

They look great to me. Why do you want to change anything?

The shield ones look great, but the armor one looks like the hero is in a straight jacket.
