I hugged every tree east of the graveyard - and it's not this tiny cave with these worm like things and a useless rope?!

There is a bridge that goes north to a small island. Walk east and then south from the south end of the bridge. Keep going south and east around the bottom of the graveyard.

Hey all! I haven't been here in FOREVER! Anyways, I recently discovered that development had finally got going again, and was just wondering if OLD ASS game files are still compatible? I'd really hate to have to track down all the ultra rares again...

Pretty sure the last time I played was easily back in 2017'ish. Like two phones ago .lmao.

Yes, the old game files will load fine if you track them down. You need the savegame files and the entire worldmap folder.

So, shortly before giving up, I got mine RolS as well!
kind of unexpected, last tries before going sleep it almost sneaked in among the health potion and two gems

Just wondering a little about the German translation but never mind as long as the ring works as intended

Speaking of giving up...I got my 2nd rols just to realize that some things are quite unique.
Roughly half of the kills were committed with MF2. Many more with MF1...
Now I'm out for the RoL, but MF ist no friend of mine.
How long will it take to find all of the extaordinary and legendary items...?

Got it... After only 9419 kills I found the RoL. Now i'll head deeper into the mountains to find the next legendary item on the list.

Found an easy way to double--or even Triple--the odds of getting a RoLS!

Secret:

Instead of engaging just 1 monster-dropper of the RoLS, position your hero to engage 2 at a time!
Or, if you want to Triple your odds, carefully worm in so you are fighting 3 at a time! Voila: 300% better odds of getting a lovely Ring of Lesser Shadow!
Waaaay better than using up precious Skill Pts for less-than-stellar MF.
Hey, you might even get 2 at a time this way!!

This should work to greatly increase odds of getting Any special/Magic/Extraordinary/Legendary item!

Wow, what was meant (mostly) as a joke above, ended up kinda working out--just got a RoLS after fewer than 1,000 battles (and a couple hundred small rocks for ref)!! What dumb luck..and with no skill pts to MF!

Stochastics can be fun. I got favored by some freaky kind of luck, after I decided I wanted to get a RoFLS.
Since I wanted to keep both RoLS, I started to grind fo a third one. Luckily, it took less than 200 additional kills to get.
So now I'm the proud owner of one RoFLS and 3RoLS. My luck was, I didn't waste too much time on no.3...
