I officially give up on hunting for the ROLS, ElyR & ROL… I am going back up to BWM to kill things until this rage wears off. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Don't give up yet. You CAN do it. Have you tried killing nothing but m&t's? I was originally killing at least 2 gargoyals on the way in. But at the end I camped in the small room with two m&t's. The RoLS then popped up quickly.
Sometimes it is advisable to have a short break, for sanity reasons.

i might just have to use all my skill points on the Legendary item skill in V0.6.10 lol.

Note to self - Grind, grind grind.
I gave up on the RoL because spawn rate is so slow in the Kasaul shrine. I'm back at the cabin where experience clocks up quickly.

You're doing the right thing! Now that we know about the skill point system that will be included in the next update, its not really "giving up", more like "strategically waiting for a more opportune time to strike". You're better off grinding for more XP to put more into the rare item drop skill. I'd also put 2 aside for the extra AP though.

I agree totally. Wait until after the next update. I'm positive that as soon as it is released, everyone will use their skill points up and start on the new quests. No thought for grinding. By the time the new quests are completed, you will be refreshed and ready to start grinding again, but with better odds.
I am only going to raise my rare drop skill to 0.02 for starters. It's equivalent to doubling my chances. There still will be plenty of time to waste grinding before the following update is ready. I will add 2 to my AP. Still need to work out where to spend the rest.

I've already got my skill point spending planned out
2 for the increased AP - would be more if 2 wasn't the max.
1 each for the increased critical hit chance & multiplier
10 for the increased drop rate on rare items
And if I can get myself to level 60 before the update...
1 for whichever condition resistance includes fatigue
After that I'll probably put them into either AC or BC and use the regular level ups for AD for a while.
For my secondary character, I'm going to just increase AP, AC, BC, condition resistance, and critical stats and skip the legendary/extraordinary item related skills.

I don't understand. I'm not a venomous dagger guy as I was one of the many that sold if off early on. I am currently using the ELyR, but not having the critical hit will bring me back to the flagship's pride when 0.6.10 is released.
