Nocmar: "Beware the liches of Undertell, if they are still are around. Those things can kill you by their gaze alone."
Quest: "Lost Sheep"
Tinlyn says this twice: "Return to me once you have placed bells around the neck of each of the four missing sheep."
Quest: "Roses"
Andor's brother: "Lovis is on his way to him. He can probably pusuade Norgothla to come to the castle."
Quest: "Roses" suprise by Hannah and Lovis
The 'something special' is described to be west of the castle near the sheep, but it actually is east where the sheep are, too.
Thanks. I fixed all of these. The Nocmar and Tinlyn ones date from before I even started playing the game, let alone got involved in the dev team. Great finds
How much content would you say was added compared to v0.7.1?
This feels like a big update. Why isn't it v0.8? (Afraid you have only two more of these and then there has to be an ending )
Version 1.0 will be when the main quest can be completed, so everything has to squeeze in before that. The game mechanics need rebalancing, which is being worked on, and that will be 0.8. So all new content before that has to be 0.7.something.

I am using LinageOS 15.0 (Android 8.0) on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (2014)
I couldn't install the beta over the one from the playstore, it would not install correctly and tell me it couldn't be installed. Uninstalling AT and installing the beta from the package then worked.
I experience this strange thing where the game gets faster and faster, not only animations but also frequency of NPC movement, so I guess the whole game. This is only since the beta. I don't know yet how to reproduce it.
Also:
Only sometimes (first time it happened in the basement of Guynmart castle) the game really slows down, even without attack animation. A rough guess is that is is connected to the "dimming" of the light in the caves since it is happening again in the cave of the quest "Just the beginning". Some of the areas there are nearly not possible to navigate (due to lag), I can walk into walls (clicking quickly while I am still doing the first walk-movement and animation) and sometimes into monsters (makes the game crash) and on the second layer my OS broke and my device rebooted because of lag.
If it is not the dimming my next guess would be the "searching" of the monsters, where they run towards you if you attack or are in their "reach", as the bats used to do. I didn't try walking into dimmed location that were there already before the beta (like cave to Lodar)
It is visible which monsters have a new design, it separates from the old monsters somehow. Sometimes it is the color, sometimes it is the shading... sometimes it might even be my imagination and being used to the old monsters so much
Awesome game!

It's 50% for text, but it's much lower for the number of quests... I guess we made some verbose quests
Indeed.
I love it
Can you guess my favorite game

You must have played a while to find all this ...
Quest: "Roses" on the western battlements
When I enter the gate house or jump off the battlements the app crashes on enemy contact.
Hm, I don't ever have any problems here. Do you have a savefile where it can be reproduced? Then Maybe you could send it to me via PM.
I'll do that.
I reproduced this with another character and think it happens, when a guard attacks with a finishing blow. If I die on his first hit I sometimes get transferred to the last resting area, but rather often the app crashes.

And yet, I found them only with a fresh beta char

Seems you guys have it all layed out. Very good. Keep it up

Thanks a lot! Like, a huge lot!
I should have noticed this pattern earlier in the reports.
My guess is that the technique used for "dimming" (and other color filters) have performance issues on some devices.
I am working on offering a setting to switch to another, sadly uglier and more limited, method of rendering color filters.
This wouldn't work for the B&W and Inverted color filters, but I don't think we are using them yet.
I think I'll PM a test APK, to check that it really fixes your issue.

The end of this quest is very hard (not by accident). Feedback about how you fare would be appreciated.
2nd try, with tears of the shadow + liquid courage. ~ lvl 44, quickstrike dagger, 43-52 dmg, 220AC, 82BC, dmg res 8. cleared all monsters and attacked, killed it in round 2

Thanks.
Did you try the trick others have used, of standing at the entrance where they can only come at you one at a time, and grinding them down, or did you just go for it?

Yes.
Since I additionally had terrible lag (problem already solved) this was the only way I could do it. I think I can run through though, need to test that again
Edit:
second try, this time without lag, I could run through the graveyard, killing one undead after the other where it was possible, sometimes groups of up to 3. I used some potions but it is better to just slay them all and then drink after each fight, not during. I can kill one undead in the first round, that's how I made it through. For the boss, again, when arriving very very quickly drink all the necessary potions and start hitting. Again, second round I killed it, with tears of the shadow, liquid of courage and quickstrike (3 attacks even with only AP).
So I wouldn't say it is so hard if you know what you are up to! If you have no idea and receive the condition the first time it is very weird and I am pretty sure that nearly everybody will die on their first try if they are anywhere near my stats.
Knowing that all the undead will die after killing the boss helped so I didn't bother too much killing them.
Ideas to increase the difficulties would be to increase the duration of the undead condition on you to 5-7 rounds AND stack, so you have to figure a way to single them out and then have enough time at the boss to recover from the condition to kill it on the first go. Then you will arrive at the boss with 6AP left or so. There is still the potion of lightening attack but with 6 attack it is hard to kill the boss in the first round. Also you land on 0AP if it hits you... well.. I don't know
Also, if you wait at the top to kill ~5 undead and then run down to the boss, trying to avoid the undead, you will outrun them since they already made their way up very far. You could leave some where the boss is, like 5 or so, that go for you if you are at the lover third so it's harder to outrun them

Thanks.
I already made the entrance two wide, and got rid of the broken pillars there, so standing there and killing them will no longer be a solution. I'll leave it at that. It's supposed to be hard, not impossible!
Re: Beta test version of Andor's Trail v0.7.2 is out!
Do I need to do something more, is this a bug, or is the quest not finishable in the beta?
The quest should be finishable. I'd think something is missing still...
did you already clear the castle of undead? Then talk to Bourbon again. If it is still the same, you might send me your questlogs (lost girl and Stoutfords old Castle)
Ah, well I actually killed all of the undead before I even started Lost Girl Looking for Lost Things. I'll go and see if I can't clear it

Cleared the quest! Found the single skeleton I was missing on the walkway furthest to the west. Thanks!
