yes, IMO it is good idea, The Dagger is too powerfull drop in snake cave. Oskar said somewhere in other topic - there will be item like old venomous dagger and you can buy it.

Its a little bit Blackwater misery/Rapier of Lifesteal like so I doubt many will hunt for it. (to equip it)
There are also big improvements for the RoLS in the new version. (see first topic for details)
IMO this makes it the best extraordinary/legendary item available.

Yeah, the first extraordinary item. I'm really glad about this being added and will go after it as fast as I can, it will probably show results faster than the search for the RolS and I think I will be happy with getting it dropped even if it is a bit weak. Perhaps it's stronger than I think, I cannot measure right now how useful the condition it's inflicting will be in a fight.
Anyways this monster is looking really dangerous and I cannot wait for beating it up
That new item will be something to grind for after I get through what ever quests I can in the new version and looks like an interesting weapon, I like the conditions. Hopefully the increased drop chance skill will come in very handy for these extraordinary items too. I don't know if I'll be able to use health potions as a counter though, unless I sell off all the regular ones, which I suppose I could do.
This actually raises a question regarding the skills. Will there at some point be a skill to increase the chance of inflicting a condition? In addition to the chaotic one, there's also the bleeding wound effect from the barbed dagger, and I assume the venomous dagger has a poison effect. Or maybe just have the current skills to reduce the chance of receiving such a condition would also equally increase the chance of inflicting it (assuming you have such a weapon)?
