Question: Do hat and robe have their own drop chances? Can they drop in parallel? Or can only 1 extraordinary item drop, and it becomes either one?

I have the same experience like you, I have 4 Valugha's hat in my inventory. I do it with "common" grind. But after a while and get bored with grind in there, I do a little cheat and finally get the robe

The drop chances of the hat and robe are independent. You could get one, the other, or both, but given the 1/1000 drop chance, the probability of getting both is extremely low.

Off to my last missing legendary, the Helm of Foreseeing.

Question on that one. If the Cave Troll Shamans are in posession of a helm of foreseeing, how come they cannot foresee that they need more than an Iron Club to defend themselves against me?
