Welcome back Lady Black and sorry to hear about your character. I've been there and it's never fun.
If you have any cloud storage like Drop Box or Google Drive, you can copy your save game to there and then load that copy to your new phone (also works for playing on multiple devices). Or you can just e-mail yourself the save file.
Happy hunting if you decide to play through again. The intelligent mobs are not being added until v0.7 so you can still download 0.6.12 but one change is the attack cost for unarmed will go up from 3AP to 4AP, so staying on 0.6.11 might be a good idea for now.

About a year ago I accidently saved over my long-time character (yes, the one with 4 complete sets of legendary and extraordinary items.) I had a much earlier save, so went back to that, but my heart just wasn't in it. The longer I didn't play, the less I missed it. Started a new character from scratch, determined to branch it at all the significant choices, but got them jumbled up too quickly. I don't really know what I have going now. I have not updated to6.12, because I fear that I will never get past the rats if they start moving toward me while I am fighting their packmates. I may be stuck in level 1 forever!
I was on the forum yesterday, and it will probably take me this next year to get caught up with all I have missed! I also should probably get a new phone soon and don't know how to transfer my stuff to a new one. I think I will stick to the forum for now. When, or if, I get caught up, I may try to figure out my various games and go back to playing.
welcome back! You were missed.
NPC movement during battle is not apart of 0.6.12.
Any number of us can help/teach you how to move files from device to device. I know Mino does this as religiously as I do, so it is not a big deal for us to help.

Welcome back!
Just to let you know the monsters will not move while you are in combat in V12. We are still working on balancing out that for the next update.
Welcome back if you need any help or have any questions ask anytime.
Good to hear from you again!

Thanks, guys!
When I get a new phone, or just before I get it, I'll get back to you for exact instructions. I am delaying it because Verizon has done away with the unlimited data plan I have had, for 2, 4, 6...gigs/month, for increasing prices/month, of course. Very rarely go over 2 gigs, but I have at least once, and if I start trying to keep up here on the AT boards, who knows how much I will use.

That's one of the main reasons I'm still on Verizon.

If I was u lady black I would switch to Tmobile. Unlimited everything and no contracts price is very affordable to.

I'd check their coverage map first to make sure you'll get a decent 3G/4G signal where you are and the places you got to most.

I've been checking just now and it looks like T-Mobile has good to great coverage at home, work and most other places I would go. Might consider a switch once my contract runs out and if the Nexus 5 is also GSM-only.
