, its been posted a few times throughout this thread, but I'm more than happy to actually help lol.
I finally found it by chance because I saw a gargoyle hiding in the trees.

Ok so I was just going through garg cave, working on getting my second rols, but when I got it, it dropped from the master to the right of the first trainers you come to. I thought the trainers were the only ones that dropped the rings.

Rennla,
This topic really has been growing over time, which understandably contributes to its postings to get overlooked a bit. This issue was brought up at least twice.
My own initial experience led me to believe the same. My 1st & 2nd ring dropped from Trainers, but the 3rd came from a Master. After rereading a previous post from Oskar, I found it to basically state the ring could come from either.
At any rate, congratulations! Especially on getting your 2nd, as a pair should really assist with your adventuring in the 0.6.9 release with the bonus Oskar added.

Thank you. I apologize for bringing it up, even though it has been brought up a few times before.

Rennla,
No apology necessary. In fact, my apology to you for contributing to you feeling that way. I was attempting to convey how common overlooking some of this topic's content was as there's evermore of it to read through and included myself in this group by offering that I had to "reread" a post from Oskar for clarification. It just happens.
I also wanted to convey again my happiness in your finding a 2nd ring. It does seem to feel that you've earned it, especially by the time you collect your 2nd. Here's hoping that #3 & #4, if that's what you're wanting, comes easily for you. Having more than two of these rings may be of benefit in a future release if the request for single banded rings to be combined to be wearable on one hand is implemented. Otherwise, just the experience points for leveling up is a great way to stay busy.
Again Rennla, sorry and congrats.

i am hoping that we will be able to make double banded rings in the next release, thats part of why i am still going through the cave, that and trying to get up on the highscore list, just keeps me busy. Plus, i go out and do a few runs of the gargoyle cave every time i smoke, which is quite often, so i can get quite a bit done in a day.
Heres to hoping that we get double banded rings in the new release, and your fourth ring, (if you havent got it yet.) and many happy travels through the land of andors trail.

hi guys new to this posting, thought give you all an update, the ring is real, just got one from a trainer on the outer room
1701 rocks
1814 ruby
lvl48
almost give up was in the cave from lvl 30 i think lost count, i acutally throw away some rocks, and already sold some gems, but the ring is real, critical % 5, damage 3, attack chance 15
i used a steel sword as i notice the critical hits do not work on some monsters, anyone use the quick dagger it can hit the monster 5 times

I tried it for a while, as well as various other weapons. The -20 block was a disadvantage. Right now I don't have a weapon equipped. With two +6 damage rings and my base 8 I'll usually hit a trainer or master for 15. I've been judging how well which weapon & equipment combos work by how many health potions are consumed per run through the cave. I'm collecting regular potions now too, not as quick as rocks though.
Still no ring...

The thing is if you have high enough damage and accuracy (17 dmg and 140+ acc) you can kill a trainer/master in 2 shots, and with 5 hits total the chances of not killing them in one hit is reasonably low, rendering the need for super high defense as mute. This is at least my current goal.
