I just wanted to say thank you to Samuel for putting together and maintaining this list. I have found it to be very usefull while building my player as a referance.

I read your earlier post about picking up a new Sketchbook. Have you considered sketching out some new map areas for the game you'd like to see implemented? You could always submit them to Oskar by scanning them for him to consider placement in the world map if time doesn't allow you to map them yourself. If nothing else, he could use them as a story board for inspiration and direction as he works. :)
I would love to help out making maps for the game. If you guys let me know what exactly you need made i can get started on a few maps right away (i do have waaay to much spare time at work)

how big do you need to maps to be? How many spaces from top to bottom & from left o right? How many entrances?

Anyone who has ideas they want put onto paper please respond on the forum or send me a P.M. at any time. :D

Pyrizzle,

I forwarded your post to Oskar. He should contact you probably the next time he's online. He's really good about following up on p.m.'s. Once you've sketched out the layout of item/content placement for a map grid, using the software to reproduce it should be the easy part. I wish you the best and hope everything just falls in place. I'm excited just thinking about the contribution your work alone could speed up the development of this game. I'll check back with you later. :)

I actually pulled out a piece of graph paper today and started drawing a lil grid map of the BWM area from the cabin to the end of the cave with the Wyrm Trainers and Apprentices are. I'm sure you are oh so familliar with this area. I figured they would be good practice before i try building a map myself. I think i may finish BWM before venturing onto a map from scratch. Who knows maybe they can use my map somehow.

Just to clarify: Yes I have specified a format, but this format is only for the data a player wants to share with others.

Everyone is free to choose what data he wants to share.
And many do not share everything. See all the "-" entries in the list.
Why the top player has to share things others do not share?
IMO regarding this point he is just another player.

On my smartphone I am only able to view the top four players listed. Is this a scrollable window that possibly remains static on my device as a result of outdated Java? Unfortunately Android devices only seem to get updated Java whenever there's an OS or software update from Verizon.
Yes its scrollable. Did you try a different browser?
I think there is nothing I can do as I need the monospaced font of the code view. Otherwise the list would look ugly.

I just hit level 56!

[edited comment to make it shorter]
Made a quick update for you.

I finally reached level 61 & I am exactly half way to 62 now.

It takes sooo much longer to level up while searching for the ROLS. I dont really even want the ELyR that badly but the exp & gold from that area is too good to pass up.

Im hopeing my rols comes quickly. Its a lot of pause and play for now.

Update.

The current stats need to have the following format:

Hitpoints: 75, Attack chance: 186%, Attack damage: 31-35, Attack cost: 3, Critical hit chance: 5%, Critical multiplier: -, Block chance: 33%, Damage resistance: 1
You may also use the following abbreviations:

Code: Select all

Lvl: 47, XP: 1962090, Gold: 315318, RoLS: 1, ElyR: 0, RoL: 0
HP: 75, AC: 186%, AD: 31-35, AP: 3, CC: 5%, CM: -, BC: 33%, DR: 1

Does the score sheet automatically update when you change your sig or do you need to post before it will update?

I think I posted my stats right.
