There's also the xcf format, which is the native format for GIMP, and GIMP is free software. I actually figured out the font by looking in the GIMP file using Notepad++.

I'm not sure about frames. I don't know how Android handles the different aspect ratios of different screens.

Oh, so now that I've downloaded 64 new medieval fonts you guys are telling me you don't need me anymore, right?
JK  ! These are great Ace! I agree about the removal of the monsters. If you're gonna have monsters on there they should be realistic, fine artist or comic artist rendered, and in a larger scale... for a title screen anyway. They should also be done in muted colors so as not to distract the viewer from the focal point of the overall composition. That font is called Isabella in GIMP (what I use) and when I put it up, you guys told me you didn't like it.

Edit:I lost my wifi signal while uploading an image, by the time I got it back I forgot I was uploading and just hit 'submit', so:
Title Screen 7.png
BTW: As a woman, I never thought I'd ever say this, but @ the monsters in Charwood mine:
"Dude! Get out of my way I'm trying to get in that hole!"

Hmm. Isabella is a script font: https://creativemarket.com/Seniors/1087 ... t-(60-Off), and it's not free. The font Oskar had in the logo is the one I pointed to. I'm quite sure of that, because I poked around in the GIMP file (if you do not have the font installed GIMP does not tell you which font is missing; it just shows a blank box if you try to edit the text).

I thought you were talking about the one Ace used. I do have both, and I used both in my list.
PS: check my edit above.

The one you posted that is very similar is this:
Title Screen 6.png
It's heavier though. Maybe that's just the way you styled it though. I don't know where you got that font. Neither Iasabella nor URW Chancery L Medium Italic are installed with GIMP (because I installed GIMP, and don't have either of them!)

@nyktos. I prefer the textured gray background Ace used.

Well both these fonts were standard in my version of GIMP. Now, I have a bunch more! I've not yet installed most. I've only had time to install 2 before I fell asleep last night. I downloaded 167 new fonts.

You must have had them installed from somewhere else. Every piece of software sees every installed font, so sometimes it's hard to tell where they come from. I have an old version of CorelDraw as well as Adobe Illustrator installed, so I have a ridiculous number of fonts!

What did you do to the text to make it look that way? I can make it bold, but that just gets it closer, not exactly what you have. I have no familiarity with GIMP, other then 15 minutes of playing around :D

looking good ace!

maybe an outline to make the font pop out a little bit...
it's so black: a grey might be enough?
