as i consider myself "a local" to both the east coast & the midwest,
i support a couple teams over there...

i was a big fan of The Devils when i was playing,
and The Penguins are an exciting team to watch [a beautiful city to boot]

and finally, naturally - i wanna see The Bruins get some quick points too...

Well I hope there are no Islanders fans keeping tabs on the forums .

-Nyk... been in "the burgh" (well just outside city limits) my whole life. It is quite a beautiful city, with mostly friendly people (everywhere has bad areas unfortunatley). Proud people, American spirit, low crime rate, and for some reason I can't wait to get out.

Go Celtics and Red Sox.

The NHL is a much better game to see live over any sport, especially baseball and basketball.

The only basketball that is even good is NCAAD1, somebody needs to teach the NBA to play defense.

The topic has been raised in the news again over whether to change the name of the Washington Redskins.

What do you all think?

It needs changed, would we like the Atlanta Cotton Pickers? or the New Engeland Honkies? No. It is offensive, so are a lot of teams, Chiefs, Vikings, Indians, Braves, Seminoles... theres a lot of them, in all sports (unfortunatly).
