I doubt that many players would support Algangror and later destroy the necklace. Anyway I prefer that you have to live with the consequences of your doings, even if you didn't know the outcome (on first playing at least).

I would do it. I helped Alagangror with my second Char, just to see a diffrent outcome. But I don't really like playing on the dark side and would gladly destroy the necklace and do some kind of quest ro save at least the still living people (and maybe my soul 😃)

Fair enough. I have to admitt it is nearly impossible not to regonize that Alagangror is a really evil person. Maby killing the rats can be done inocently, but never the 5 idols. I don't wont to start over new, so I guess my char have to live with his guild. I only hope that I didn't choose a permanent side now and still can do other quests than the evil ones in futur updates.

Hi there,
I'm new to the forum, after an unknown number of hours played and a second build up to level 52 after a failed start, after reading posts here more and more often, I figured I would try and jump in here.

I just got to Remgard and find my self kind of puzzled with what to do.

I get the algangror is a bad witch story : if you side with her :
- she admits
having lured her victims and changed them into rats before asking you to kill them,

- however
she explains it was a mistake, she originally wanted to mute them, but her little trick went wrong.
- Nevertheless
it's not enough for her revenge and she has you hide her idols under 5 more victims bed's. You learn later that this gives them nausea, and you can imagine the victims won't die from that treatment and they they will find and destroy the idols one day
So, yeah, that's pretty bad, particularly the "having you get rid of the rat problem" part.

But on the other hand, the Remgard take on it is
-
kill her, no further question
And I feel that based on what Jhaeld is supposed to know of what she did, that is pretty hard a punishment, like
she's part of village life, then she turns her house into weird lab, then they kick her out (not really cool, they could have offered her some kind of space elsewhere like the cabin she's in now) then people go missing, then they learn she's around and they decide to kill her.
I also feel that however mighty might be the necklace or critical the hat, I just can't decide myself based on moral ground.

I think I will opt for leaving those quests for later as none conclusion fit me now.

Well I guess fashion wise that might be true, even though I think I am keener of Feygard's glory necklace's looks.

Also, I have been fighting with the Shadow of the Slayer, and I feel the MT doesn't bring much more than the superior necklace of protection.

This is one of the choices that isn't really a choice. Marrowtaint makes the best builds better, and makes bad builds playable.

The alternative is.. you get nothing. None of the Remgard stuff is anything you'll end up using.

Playing the game through some kind of morally-justifiable good guy lens is odd to me. It means you can't complete half the quests in the game.

The woodcutter's feathered hat is the only headgear with a CS boost. So it is very usable.
