Apart from my mysery in solving one part i found this a very nice quest.
How did you decide to pass by the Black Fog?

Try another route from somewhere else outside the cave

Hello, sorry for poating in old thread but I have a problem starting the quest.

From what I understand to start the quest I have to just talk to Bogsten but the old man just sends me away with me responding "okay I will come back when you have more time", I am a returning player with high level char so thats not a problem, any idea what is the problem?

As far as I remember, a nice bowl of soup may be a good idea.

I finished soup quest And bought soup from pub in fallhaven.
I fighted the dungeon with necklace from bogsten.
I took the soup with me but nothing happens, the fog doesnt go away:( i can't continue dungeon.

Any hints please?

He wasn't telling you to take the soup there.
He was giving you a pretty blatant hint on where to go next.
Maybe you should take your soup south
