Ah, thanks--those would've helped a lot!
Speaking of, it seems that some of the effects monsters use (stun, poison, etc) are stronger &/or occur more often in the newer builds vs a few years ago.. did the monsters get an upgrade?
Noticed it coming back through the spider caves, especially.. seemed much harder even tho my guy was stronger (at least 3 levels higher) on the return journey from Remgard.

Nope. Pre-existing monsters have not been upgraded.
