Yeah, Giant Flail could be used without potion if any kind of item (like a one-handed weapon) could at least raise max AP +1.... actually only 2 weapons have a similar effect (ElyR and Shadow of the slayer +2AP) but those are 2 two-handed weapon so we can't use them... maybe any kind of item like that could make of this weapon an useful one ?
This would be a really nice idea devs... particularly with the damage re balancing you plan in v.7.10 (based on AP cost so I assume giant flail's damage modifier will be really really high)

The modifier is really based on the number of attacks you can get per round. So all weapons with 8AP or more are equivalent, because you can only get one attack per round.

Uh.. Then why Olwyn's curse (8AP) has a damage modifier of 320% and some other 8AP or more weapons have a lower damage modifier ?
i.e :
Heavy iron club 8AP 210% DmgM
Giant Hammer 10AP 215% DmgM
Executioner's greataxe 8AP 209% DmgM
Black greataxe 8AP 191% DmgM
And there are also more weapons 8AP or more I can't check because Agthor sell them and I helped Nor City instead of Remgard in the Feygards errands quest...
