Andor's Trail v0.7.2 released to Google Play

Yeah. I see the same problem. The "Load" button is greyed out. How the heck did that happen?

I can't save a game either.

That's what I was going to report. If it helps, I had the RC version installed. Play said it was already installed and there was no "update" option. Had to uninstall it to get the official version. Tried renaming the directory, didn't work.

Not on Google yet for me in fla but maybe it auto updated. But I can't play my saved games now cleared all caches and data reinstall works ty

Excellent! I just went into the app settings and enabled the permissions and all is well!

I guess I was trying too hard. I didn't even look. I just assumed the option for storage would not even be available. So forget my advice about installing 0.7.1. and updating. Just go to app settings and turn on storage.

I am still waiting for the f-droid version to update my 0.7.1. Though 0.7.2 did not make it to f-droid until now, I already want to say "thank you" to the developer team. Andors Trail is my favourite game of the last years and me and my 9 year old son were eagerly waiting for the story to continue. So I hope development goes on until some day we finish the search for Andor. A big "THANK YOU" to the developers.

I am still waiting for the f-droid version to update my 0.7.1. Though 0.7.2 did not make it to f-droid until now, I already want to say "thank you" to the developer team. I need to perform some github-related actions for F-Droid to build 0.7.2. This will be done soon.

Why does the new version of the game require the permission "Device & app history"?

Because I added some code to save some logs on the user-accessible storage. I forgot to remove the permission declaration from the release APK even though that code is disabled.
