please don't set a cap limit

if a cap limit is set on what you can carry that will be a hindrance and a pain in the rear. You want to go hunt and explore and be prepared with potions bm and food and then your gear your nearly capped out.so when getting loot you have no cap to carry it. Leave the carrying capabilities as they are please.

I don't see the point of creating a topic to complain about a game mechanic that is neither implemented nor considered so far...

Honestly I was very happy when found AT doesn't have inventory limitation.
Many games use this for balancing some issues (mages with fighters) or to make you wish to obtain teleport or magic bag, but even than I don't like this limitation very much. Simply because traveling back and forward just to put something in the chest is not fun.


I think the hierarchy of the priorities should be like this:
1) fun of the game
2) everything else

Realistic is very often fun, but not always. And when it doesn't it lead to the mis-concept of the main priority.

I know one on-line game where creators went crazy with realistic and RP.
First they decided player needs food for the rest, than they decided player can't eat too much, so he can't rest if not hungry, then the fire becomes necessary to cook the food before sleep, to heat the fire you need firewood and a torch. Before you rest you need to equip torch in character's hand, place the firewood on the ground and set fire. Everything is consumable and heavy. And of course you can't rest if you are not tired. So the simple process turned to mad tamagotchi ritual and not fun at all. Instead of fighting and discovering new places you play dolls - dress, undress, feed, sleep.

We have all the stuff, and the space for it in our magic red bag. Now we just need to come up with fun and creative things to do with it all.....

So you have a Bag of Holding. Or a null-time pocket (from the Journeyman Project). I've never really thought it was a big issue. I played a lot of D&D and we never really asked questions like "How exactly is a gnome carrying three greatswords and a halberd?"
