It can't just zero out the DR... it is possible to have a negative DR (thus if zeroed out, it would actually help you instead of hinder you).... How about -1 or -2 to DR instead?

We could make the CHS -50% like Blackwater Misery.
A negative to the DR would be a good addition, it would make it harder for a player to survive because they would take more damage

Make it a necklace. There aren't any legendary necklaces right now, and making it one would also hit your AP usage (further nerfing it)

There's still one problem:
You summon the monsters and as soon as they have respawned, you equip an other ring, slay all mobs and put it on again.
So the ring needs a condition: cursed (xx rounds): you cannot unequip the item hat has inflicted this condition.

Love this idea, I am sick and tired of the slow spawning imps. Let them respawn fast and chase me

How about this?.....
(something) Curse: For every monster spawned while wearing the item you lose .5% AC (only removable upon resting).
This way even if you unequip the item you are still punished for using it.
