But really we can worry about the length of/inclusion or not of backstory later. I want to hear people's thoughts on the item idea, and any suggestions of their own as far as stats are concerned.

Vilyanmar's Revenge:
AP cost:4
Attack chance: 20%
AD: 5-10
BC: -20%
DR: 1

This is not a bad sword I can find it useful without being overpowered and without being legendary. I would rather complete a quest to recieve it. I would probably lower AD by 1-2 just for balance issues. The main reason I would use it is to add to my DR but it offsets that with the lowered BC cost.

Hmm maybe we can have a quest written for it if there's enough enthusiasm? Or it can be a legendary item, which doesn't rewrite a quest.
