After the potion has it's positive effects there would be a timeframe after where there is a slight negative effect. What i was saying is that the negative effect wouldn't be effected by sleeping in a bed (so you couldn't get rid of it, only time cures it)

Sell a cure for the negative effect. Should cost considerably more than the potion.

Potions, potions, always potion. Why not create a "Horn of the Warrior" which "attracts (meaning spawns)" monsters and "Boots of Cowardice" which reduces chances of monsters spawning around you (3-4 squares).
These horn could have a cooldown to make less powerful (or a blood tithe :twisted:)

hmm.. intresting idea, but those items can easily be owerpowered.... How about:
-Horn of the warrior is a weapon; AC-100, AD -15, AP 6
-Boots of Cowardice; BC -50, DR -5, move cost + 3

But as soon (or late...) as the monsters have spawned, you could switch back to
your normal weapon or boots and the malus is gone.
