Three giant, plague-ridden spiders surround me. Blood drips from my various wounds as I glare defiantly at their leering faces. Their blows do not effect me at all, but when the venom kicks in, I'll be writhing in pain. I swing my giant, gut-splitting axe at them, infuriated as they dodge its blow yet again. They weave in and, cackling madly, get in two hits each on me again. I roar out in wrath, before finally getting in my own hit. The enemy dies immediately. Two rounds later, I shout again in triumph as the second spider dies. The third follows its fallen comrades seconds later.

I laugh jubilantly, even as the deadly poison rushes through my veins. Hah! That's all you got? I roar out my challenge to the others. I will find my brother, and mere spiders will not stand in my path... Not spiders! Not Shadows, not contemptable guards... Not even Kazaul and Elythara, and the petty thieves guild... None will... stand against me... *spit*cough* I will find you... brother... Then, blackness, and a feeling of falling, falling, falling...

"i met this potion maker, and he needed some... things."

*dark eyes peering about from beneath a dark hood, scanning the room for threats*

"his ingredients are often difficult to acquire,
but the potions he subsequently offers... priceless!"

"last night, was almost my last dig..."

"i had a close call with the Crypt Keeper near Sullengard,
as the dead weight hindering my escape was too valuable to abandon..."

"i walked with the Shadow, and by graces - ended up alive enough to tell the tale..."

*takes a swig of his mead*
"Embrace the Shadow"

lol @ nyktos

As I near the gargoyle caves, my only thoughts are on a ring of power (and hoping I wont have to trek 50 leagues and throw it in a volcano afterwards...). I stand at the mouth of the cave, wielding my...Drat, after a quick trip home... I stand at the mouth of the cave, wielding my prize from Fallhaven prison. The sun is fading, no matter, it can't help me where i'm going. I step into the darkness, brushing away the cobwebs. Once out of the wind I use my tinder box to light my torch, shadows leaped with every small movement, and the sense of manace was tangible. 'This must be the place' I thought to myself as ventured forth to test my fate...

"Impossible..." gurgled the demon of Flagstone.
"Many have said that," I note briefly. "And they are all dead. Including you." I add, as I step on the dying demon's skull with my boots, eliciting a sharp crunching sound. Perhaps, I muse to myself, underestimation is truly my greatest ally. That demon wielded a good sword. It would be a shame to let it go to waste in the ruins of an abandoned prison. I give myself a small smile as I admire my reflection in the sword. Whoah, theat's one good blade. Turning around, I head for the exit. It's about time that this weapon recieves a worthy master, I chuckle.

You have a talent, your other posts as well. I'd write a novel of Andor's Trail from the start if I were you. At least then we could have the possibility of a hollywood blockbuster about our exploits. Keep those creative juices flowing...

I open my eyes, a stabbing pain shoots through to my brain. I don't know where I am, and have no memory of getting here. Slowly, I begin to recognise features in the room, I've been here before. Ahh, the cabin on Blackwater Mountain, yes, that's it. I roll over and my heart stops... the she-aulaeth smiles...Curse that Blackwater brew...

Walking up the mountain i notice Kruncha leaving the cabin as i walk further up to Blackwater Mountain settlement. I think to myself as i wave "oh man he looks like he's had a rough night" so without thinking i walk over and pull out some food supplies out of my bag and using Bread, cooked meat, and a few other ingrediants. I build Kruncha a sandwitch and hand it to him as i walk past.

"Looks like you need this more than i do today." I say as i hand him the food.

He nods and lets a small smile escape from his lips, at that moment i could tell his day might start to get better shortly.

I do make a pretty mean sandwich. Happy hunting, be careful climbing down the god forsaken monstrosity.
