Im not a fan this PC as a ability, but nice idea here. I like to see something like "counter attack" skill.
. How about something like;
-counter attack 1, prequisities cleave, combat speed = 5% chance of one free attack when enemy miss
-counter attack 2, prequisities cleave 3, combat speed 2 = 10% chance of one free attack when opponent miss

I like that idea too. +1
The only reason I proposed this as an ability instead of a skill is there is not a lot of options to chose from when you level up. I figure that the calculations for chance to Parry would essentially be the same as a chance to Crit, just modified slightly to work.
Regardless, this thread is full of good ideas. Maybe the idea of Parry/Counter could be brought up at the meeting, then decided from there whether it could possibly be an ability or skill. From there we could all work our magic to tweak it into oblivion...

so far, i like counter attacks & the idea of moving while attacking...
[having a Move Cost of 3 is really nice when monsters have smart movement]

Inyresting. move and attack... I may have some ideas, can you please tell me how monster movement change.. I mean, do monsters move one step per combat round or ? do monsters group on and then swarm attack ? .. etc

Intresting, move and attack... I may have some ideas, can you please tell me how monster movement change.. I mean, do monsters move one step per combat round or ? do monsters group on and then swarm attack ? .. etc

Yeah i have to actually flee for my life instead of trying to fight my way thru the baddies.
The swarms are DANGEROUS!
