i totally agree & it's been brought up before too,
and i really think an "item set bonus" could appear in game.



like, how about throwing in some boots for the Valugha set?
we don't have rare drop boots yet... right?

by use cost, i mean when you consume healing items during combat.
(totally random idea that i have been wanting to suggest)

and...

keep in mind, you want the set to be of the same type...
because in the next update (v0.6.12) there are armor types.

Just and idea for you centurion on the quest line because don't want to take anything away from your ideas, what about if mikhail was once a great sword master who taught many noble warriors of the ancient world, lord geomyr believing he was training warriors for the good of the shadow tried to hunt him down and capture him, knowing this mikhail was forced into hiding fearing for his life, before fleeing his bestowed all his equipment to his young apprentice sergio for save keeping, you must find location of sergio and return them back to your father where he now knows you have become a mighty warrior like himself and gives you his items to help you on your quest to find your brother, just an idea centurion

Thanks for that addition +1 ...I think I find here compromise and somewhat use that part as well...already thought something tragical end to his companion...then he started training Shadow Warriors

This is the story I made up for Vestments...more background story from Mikhail´s past...

PRELOG:

Mikhail was once great adventurer, who travelled far and wide and who has seen very many strange places during his travels. He was accompanied by his great fellow Sergei, whom with they fought side by side against many enemies: skeletons, rabid animals, demons, ghosts, spirits, reapers, bandits and so on and on.
However, Mikhail´s adventuring days came to an end after tragic trip to Ancient Tombs of King Lyric...on that day Sergei and Mikhail reached to kings chambers, when suddenly undead king Lyric showed himself. Companions fought bravely and defeated undead king, although Sergei died from injuries, what he suffered from king´s blade. Mikhail swore to himself he would end his adventuring days...
Since then, there is a legend about four doom knights, who have different parts of some kind quote, which grants the access to complete set. Also legends says that it may be hidden to the tomb, where Mikhail fought his last fight with Sergei, however no one, but Mikhail himself can confirm it or decline the legend or myth...
Mikhail made order to his companion´s honour by calling it „Sergeian Shadow Warriors“. He was busy training initiates from day to day, going so on for many well years, until order´s principles were questioned by new Feygard´s Lord Geomyr. Geomyr´s guards and Mikhail warriors had many conflicts throughout many years, which caused shadow warriors to fell into complete disarray. By now, there are many rumors around it´s order, like there is somewhere well-hidden underground remnants of the order and only Mikhail´s Vestments items are able to recover the order itself...at least one, who is able to obtain them all.
Another rumor is based around Mikhail and his sons...Mikhail believes that one of his sons is able to recover his once-mighty armor to recover the order, although Mikhail has never spoken to anyone, including his sons...at least since then, when shadow warriors order vanished. Also there was some drunkard named Jalal, who claimed to know where Mikhail´s armor parts are, however he is also as gone as order from conflict days.
As Mikhail´s one son – Andor´s disappearance, he seems to prepare to tell the whole story to his another son, for finding Andor with the help of the mighty armor and fulfill Mikhail´s dream to recover his companions honoured Shadow Warriors order to it´s former glory...

I love it, got the making of a fantastic quest centurion, really good storyline IMO aswell,lets hope the devs see it potential because I think this would be a great quest if implemented,well done !
