Two of the worst sports to watch: pro soccer and pro baseball. I used to play soccer and I still love it but it is an agonizingly slow game to watch. Likewise, little league baseball with kids can be a lot of fun but by the time you get to even minor leagues let alone professional baseball it becomes a matter of Pitch -> Swing -> 5 min break while everyone scuffs their shoes -> Pitch -> Swing -> 5 min break...

Of course, I find football and basketball and rugby and most other sports rather boring to watch too but nothing like the two I mentioned above. I'll gladly play any sport and have fun doing so even if I'm not all that great at any of them but when it comes to watching sports... have fun coz I have better things to do with my time than watch someone else have fun.

I'm not a sports fan and don't watch pro sports at all really (well except for the occasional Seahawks game).

Pro wrestleing is kinda my weakness. (very entertaining) My best friend and I watch it together and make sassy commentary. Its a grand old time when you throw in Alchoholic Slurpees to the mix.

Well, the point of soccer is that there are very few goals/points scored, maybe the least in all sports. Which in return increases the importance of every single action. If a goalkeeper fails in the first minute, it could be the action that decides about the whole match. Unlike in Basketball or many other sports, where they score, score, score some more and then score again, and it doesn't really matter until the last quarter if the scores are somehow close.

Besides, football is my gossip. Watching it over the years, attending all kinds of games all over the country you learn a whole lot about football, the players, the teams, the men behind the teams etc. It's a complete world of its own, like every big sport. So it is not just some 22 guys and a ball but so much more behind it. If it matters to you, it is the best thing to watch, if you're only in for great moves and exciting goals, watch the roundup afterwards.

Bill Shankly once put it this way: "Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that".

Football is a reason to start a war, a brawl, it may spoil whole days, weeks or friendships. But it can also give you positive emotions of the same intensity. It's not something that makes you clap and raise your eyebrow, it is something that makes you jump, scream or cry.

Personally, I like fencing, archery, jousting and martial arts of all kinds. Guess I was born in the wrong time period, lol.

I like it when football is on TV as the roads are much quieter for me to roar about on my GSXR1100.
