I don't think we should use that name, and it might still be under copywrite. Otherwise, sounds good. I like the banishment idea. Here you are, locked in a desperate battle for your life with some monster--and suddenly it is just gone, leaving you with nothing! (Except your life, of course!)

Excellent point, although in this particular case I think we would be OK in using the term Cthulhu.
There is a long copyright dispute over H.P's literary estate, some of his work including some of the "Cthulhu Mythos" are under the public domain. All of his works are under public domain in the EU I believe.
Plus he actively encouraged others to use his ideas and build from them.
