This weapon is best for when you have a lot of monsters to fight all within a close distace. If you race from one NPC to the next you can stretch the effects out for quite some time.

Re: Help me understand this: Sword of Shadow's Rage ...
I haven't seen the sword, but I figure it can work this way, from what I've gathered...
Say you have 80 hp and a mob hits you for 80 hp in a round after you attack and the condition is active, it should only hit you for 40 hp before BC is added in, as the sword has added 40 hp to your health that round. Is that the jist of it as far as the condition's effect is concerned, aside from the sword's other benefits? I may not be explaining myself understandably...

I still try to explain this intresting weapon to you. After ewery kill you fot 50% chance to get conditition "Minor berserges rage" modification are AC +60%, BC -90%, DR -1 and +35 to your max hp will not raise your current hpa. So if your hp max is 100 it will be raised to 135, and if yor current hp are 50/100 your hp is raised to 50/135. IMO this weapons is realky usefull when fighting agains enemies which (ps Laby Black, I finally got this one right thanks to you) are anyways hit you or in builds which got benefits for cleave 3 or 4. I just love the cleave and +60% to AC combo

Re: Help me understand this: Sword of Shadow's Rage ...
So, the effect isn't any use unless you use a potion to raise hp to max? But it only lasts one round so wasting AP on the additional health is basically useless it seems to me. Unless someone could get the positives into my thick skull.
Don't get me wrong, the rest of the stats given by the condition may make the sword worth having, but that hollow max hp boost puzzles me...
I'm just really trying to figure out the actor condition, not the equip effect, and how it works. Could someone please post the code for this actor condition? It's mostly out of curiosity but it might give me ideas, too.

Please add your stats into your signature. Then it will be much easier to understand your situation and help you (and we got one more in the highscore table tooDarkSavant13 wrote:So, the effect isn't any use unless you use a potion to raise hp to max? And IMO this +35 to max hp can be usefull too. Examble when you meet some extraodinaly hard monsters which ones can kill you in single hit ....

Personally, I'm not competitive so the high score list isn't high on my list of priorities.

Besides, I like my sig too much, lol.

And... I still don't see how an extra bit of MAX hp can help you if the effect only lasts one round and only gives you the max hp but doesn't heal you at all. Say you use your round to heal yourself 80 hp to try to fill up to the new max and the mob hits ya for 90? What's the use of that except to waste potions. It still isn't making any sense. I may just be thick, but how can the extra max hp be justified?

I have this sword in my 2nd build and I have never equipped it a 2nd time (unequipped within minutes of originally equipping it). IMO, its total useless.

Personally, I'm not competitive so the high score list isn't high on my list of priorities. I figure I restart too often for it to amount to much anyway. When my stats are needed I'll post 'em, but they aren't needed in this case. Maybe I'll post em eventually when things settle a bit more. Right now the playtesting is more important to me.
Besides, I like my sig too much, If you pay close attention and can figure out what to look for it actually tells more about me than most realize.

And FYI one important thing about the round. In AT round is 6 sec and it is countdown only when you are not in combat. So berserking 1 round last at least until the current combat ends.
So.. There are this boss which typically kill you in a single round becauce it hits you almoust every attack and total damage done in round is something up to 80 points and it is over your current max hp.
You can beat him if you start the fight with boss and some another monster simultaneously. First you kill the monsters using the sword of the shadow rage, now you got the "Minor berserkes rage" and thanks for the cleave you are back in 12 AP. Next step are unequip the sword, use +40hp potions andnos you have over 80 current hp and you still can make one barehanded attack. You now have more hp and the boss monster cannot kill you in single round. In every following rounds you can heal yourself +80hp and attack...and the berserking last over the battle...
