What clue is needed? Search for the amount of your XP.

As rljackson741 said previously, the exp is in two places, one of which is the one to edit. That said, I only find one exp string in the hex editor. Anyways, I changed it, loaded it, no change in-game. Changed my level too. No change in-game. Not sure what else to do. I'm a n00b with hex so I rly don't know what I'm doing, but I thought I had changed it correctly...

It's been a long, long time since I've looked at any of this but I'm pretty sure all the required information is in this thread you just need to read through it all and parse out what is important. Have you tried using a fresh character that would have a less lengthy and complex save?
