In our forum, on Google Play, on itch and on GitHub the versions are identical.
FDroid compiles the version by themselves. It has the same content, but it's a different APK with a different signature, so not mixable with the other ones.

It would be 0.8.12.2 if we had another bugfix release without new content. Or 0.9.1 for a major change in content or engine.

I'm not exactly sure if you just overlooked my inquiries I'm still wondering if all the items that have no use will eventually have one like for example rotten apple's, rotten meat, bat wings, mud fiend gue, hand carved snowball, large lo k spider eggs, red crystals. Many will, but probably not all. We have no idea which ones though, so it's best to keep at least a few of everything.
