Pretty much used all my potions just getting to Lodar the first time. Now I literally can't get back to the area where Hirazinn dragon dude is. Wtf am I supposed to do??? I don't have a saved game before this insane quest...

I'm assuming that you slept there?
If so, you have a long road ahead to get out of there.
Do you have the Regeneration skill? If so, you are in luck.
You can sneak your way around from map to map and heal while staying on the map border tiles.

If you don't have regeneration you can kill hirathil in the first cave to gain XP. Eventually you will be able to get that skill. If you have gold buy as many of Lodar's healing potions as you can.

You can't buy anything from him until you kill the boss below

You are right. So the only way out is regeneration.

Dodge and save is also an option, with hit-and-run on the sentinal ghosts that you can't dodge. It will take patience, but it should be possible to make gradual progress. It might be worth just making your way out again for now, since you came in with a very underpowered character (that's the bonemeal trap).

Welp. I don't have Regeneration and I'm out of potions. There is no way I can hit and run my way out of this. I need a cheat code or something. It seems odd not to have any other recourse in a predicament such as this... I'm obviously not going to start over at lvl 22 on my other save slot. I'm lvl 39 now.

That's your only option. Grind to level up and get Regeneration or hit and run your way out of the ghost cave. Getting back to the Green Maze is the goal. Going after the boss in your condition is not wise.

lodar has hp potions but doesn't sell potions before completing a quest, right?

like antison said, with one level up you get regeneration. if you can't run away, try to face ghosts at narrow places, don't get circled. then lots of save load. you will be safe at every maps first tiles, i guess. then you can slowly charge your hp there. lot of save & load spamming. if you feel annoyed during process i recommend to continue from your save. 17 levels are something but not crazy in my opinion.

i experienced a similar situation on my way to blackwater, at cabin bed. i think some distant beds, specially lodars (damn ghosts) are traps if you're not leveled up enough. ghost are a problem for a huge level span.

Or alternatively, just play permadeath. Then it doesn't matter where you last slept.
