Obtainium does not download latest version 0.8.11 from github

Well, the sources of 8.12 are on github, I just have forgot to tag it.
We have never put the apk themselves there though.
Btw. there will be a bugfix release soon.

Will version 0.8.12 be coming to github? Or is it not intended to regularly release/distribute the apks there? https://github.com/AndorsTrailRelease/andors-trail

This is what I ended up doing. If I were to use obtainium, I would prefer that my phone ping one of github/microsoft's servers for updates rather than the andor's trail server. However, I figure that the game updates slowly enough for me to just download the updated apk in the tor browser instead of using obtainium.

Theoretically I could use obtainium to download the f-droid version. However, the f-droid version has not been updated yet.

The f-droid version doesn't exist yet, because I haven't tagged the source.
And I don't plan to tag it anymore, because we'll have a bugfix release soon.
