Good point. Still, you might need to hit and run sometimes even if it's not your normal fighting style, and for that in your scenario you'd need either one level of Combat Speed or an item that reduces your movement cost, like
the feline boots or villain's armour

With a 6ap attack cost in getting your combat speed to two and using the necklace generates a waste of two AP points every round which becomes very very annoying cuz you have to hit "end round" every time. I wouldn't recommend doing it for this reason

Combat Speed skill

Post by Canuck »

You don't have to tap "End round" unless there's something else your character is capable of doing with only 1 or 2 AP; otherwise, the game is smart enough to end the round automatically (unless I'm misremembering). And you'd need only one level of Combat Speed to hit and run with a 6 AP weapon and appropriate amulet, not 2.

You think I don't know that?
What I'm telling you is 99.9% of the time, you're going to have to click that button.
