I get a Force Close every time

the coolest thing ever just happened. I ran into three pink dudes at once and immediately died even though I had 138 HP. I don't know how that's possible, but as I'm staring at myself in the bed wondering what just happened the little Force Close box pops up. I reopen the game to find my dude in the cave about 30 seconds back in time with all my experience and whatnots! Tell me that's not the coolest thing ever. If you guys are going to fix any of my recent FC issues, please work on this one last!

Are you using a task killer? Sometimes those can cause applications to FC.

So I uninstalled Task Killer and I an still getting FC. Didn't think it was that because I never used to have these issues and I've had ATK since the day I got my phone.

Just so you know most Android developers will tell you that task killers do more harm than good. As mentioned before, they can cause FC issues and cause apps not to work properly. If you are running Android 2.2 or higher, Android will kill the task when it needs to use the resources.

Well, I was finding that even though I had a task checked to be killed, when I hit "kill selected tasks" many of them would keep right on running. Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm dying to find out what is causing all of these issues. It is costing me precious grinding time I need to stay up on that Top Ten!

Resurrecting an old thread here - but just wanted to let you know I have committed some code recently that should alleviate most FC problems relating to when you return to the game. Basically, now instead of crashing, the game will be sent back to the startingscreen if it detects that the game resources have been flushed out of memory.
Less FCs is a good thing. Thanks for reporting it!
