You have to

drop the cheese inside the cage area from the other side. Go all the way around back inside the museum and pick it up. The cage area opens up on both sides but not both sides at the same time.

Anyone else having trouble getting the wall to open?

I''ve put bones in, I've hit with pickaxe, I've even stuffed a couple fish in there ... the wall won't budge

How do I get the cheese into the museum?

There's another way.

1. Hand the cheese to Wart.
2. Go inside and tell him you want the cheese back.
3. Go outside to take the cheese but stand on the stairs to the museum.
4. Take the cheese and drop it on the stairs.
5. Use the stairs to go back in the museum.

When you will step on the stairs you will automatically pick the dropped cheese and at the same time move into the museum so Wart won't ask you to take the cheese out. Problem solved.

Also a question guys. The first time I cleared Ratdom I forgot to pick up the torch so I entered the caves blind but after entering the area marked on the map as Entry everything else was clear as day, no need for torches. I cannot do the same now. Is it intentional?
