All this means is that you struggle tremendously in getting in and out of the forest.

Haha, but no.

I've got 264 BC now. At any time with 200+ HP I can, with above 90% confidence, battle with 3 Red snakes! I still have to keep a tab on my HP when fighting their swarm, but I've overcome all the challenges the rest of the monster pose, with or without swarm in whole of Sullengard map.

Your forest has been amazing to battle at. Round and round it goes. Haha.

Why are you grinding in there? Simply for the XP? Why? Why OP yourself?

I have this thing in this game that my build should be able to withstand the onslaught of a swarm of fierce monsters the game is offering, while at the same time it should have sufficient power to cut through the swarm without sweat. Before v0.8.1 I was at the top. This update knocked me down. So I had to restore my status.

I've stopped grinding now. I'll wait for new update and see where it drags me down.

It's a boring play style I guess, but it is fun for me.

Also, I'm sort of new to lingo here. What's OP? "Overpress"?

I would rather start a new character than get OP. IMO, OP means a fair percentage of the fun is gone.

I'll look into this again. I tried Permadeath a week ago. Went up to lvl 20 before I drew my last breath in the wilderness south of Fallhaven. Permadeath is a high stakes game, which was a different kind of fun cause you can't be reckless and have to strategize a lot before battle.

I guess after a couple of days I'll start a Permadeath build again and see where I can take it.

Permadeath is not fun for me as it takes the need for grinding to the nth degree.
