Andor's Trail v0.7.14 released!

Yes i see the savegames in the andors trail folder. Funny, i thought with deleting the data everything would be gone.
And yes, i did backup my savefiles also in a different folder.
But right now i have them in the backupfolder (named andors trail backupsaves) and the andors trail folder. The game is right now uninstalled (and i did delete the data like draze described). But the savegames are still in the andors trail folder.

Also, just to make sure i did inform all of you about how this did play out: the savegames where always there but when i started andors trail after the different reinstalls i got no migration message or anything else. The load button stayed greyed out no matter how i installed version 7.14

Also, kindly rename your "andors trail" folder with "andors-trail" folder for the game to recognize it as a subdivision with the address of all of your savegame files.

The load button will stay gray or grey (Gray and grey are both common spellings of the color between black and white. source: Google )
if, and only if, the game itself can't read your savegame files even though their address are correct (w/c means the savegame files are located inside of My Files/Device Storage/andors-trail).
The MAIN Reason behind this is that you MUST rename your savegame files by "savegameN".
Where: N = Positive Natural Number (i.e 1,2,3,4,5,...)
For example,
if you have 2 savegame files in your game, then you must rename those 2 by "savegame1" and "savegame2" respectively or "savegame2" and "savegame1" respectively.
Hope your problem is fix now.

The saves should have migrated to you Android folder. Open that then open data then search for andors trail folder.

Good. Uninstalling AT should not delete the savegames in the andors-trail folder. But you should absolutely have them backed up somewhere else. Preferably, somewhere not on your phone. viewtopic.php?t=6283. If your savegames are somewhere that is not on the phone, you can always get them back, even if your phone is destroyed.

The new folder for v0.7.14 savegames is:
/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.gpl.rpg.AndorsTrail/files/andors-trail/
Copy the savegames and the worldmap folder to it.

Probably you can't write directly from PC to it.
Then use a file explorer app to copy to the new v.7.14 folder.
E.g. the Android app Total Commander works for it.


As an alternative option you may deinstall AT again and install once more the old version, but this time with our signature static/AndorsTrail_v0.7.13.apk
Your saves should be loadable now.
Next install the actual version static/AndorsTrail_v0.7.14.apk that should make the mentioned copy (could take some time, be patient)

Hi guys,

I did it like Nut said (uninstalled AT and deleting the folder, installed v0.7.13 from the link, load my savegame, then installed v0.7.14 from the link). I could play now, but the programm crashes often. The F-Droid Version did not crashed once.

What could be the cause?

When the program crashes often- after the battle?
If you are playing AT via "Google Play Store", then
Kindly set the "Display Monster loot" from "Always show loot dialog box" to "Do not display" for notifications.
If that works, then you have this same issue .
