(As of v.0.7.14) It depends. As far as we already know. It has a rival now.

A loyal Feygard but wearing the Marrowtaint. I don't know but having it you must oppose

Remgard

and side with

Algangror

a witch (devoted to the Nor City's "dark corners").

As a result,

the good ones go with Remgard, the evil ones side with the witch

As far as I know, Feygard is against the Nor City (Followers of the Shadow).
Ergo, Feygard will not support its use.
However, the Black Defender will do.

It's a (more) challenge for yourself to try that.

For 100% pure Feygard builds, I reluctantly shy away from the marrowtaint (best item in the game IMO) and go with the necklace of the undead. Orhtolion's talisman is garbage IMO. 2-4 AD, 5 HP. The 12 BC is almost completely negated by Fear's -10BC. Plus the other negative affects of Fear = garbage

Garbage or not - you can get this too late in the game to be relevant. But who knows how deep Feygarders might bow before a bearer of such item?
