In the Much Water quest I got the hand axe from the brothers, but I forgot why it was in my inventory and accidentally sold it before I destroyed the dam. I had a peek in the source code and it seems that that is the only place in the game you can get a hand axe! So as far as I know it's now impossible to complete that quest.
Suggestion: make it unsellable, or allow destroying the dam with one of the axes that you can get from the woodcutters after defeating the wasps, or one of the axes you can get from Jakrar.

Indeed there's no way to complete the quest now, and another, later one either.
We should change this axe to a quest item that can't be sold.
