A few no pop ups

¹ You don't get a pop up saying you completed "the way out is through" nor does it say it in the source code

² when doing the the cat and mouse, there is no popup saying you completed it nor shows the xp

In case of 2. I recall reading both completed and XP when I picked the option of giving it to the cat. Not sure whether the same occured when I picked the different option.

Lol maybe. I don't think the dry lake bed registers as being inside of Brimhaven. So it doesn't give a pop up of being released. And or since it's a lake bed you wouldn't drop it there

Darn! I didn't think about someone leaving via the dried up lake. I'll have to fix that.

You could also leave Brimhaven by dying - no chance to absolutely restrict the mouse from escaping the city.

I just fixed the lake bed. There is no sure fix for "teleport by dying". If you keep the mouse, the next time you try to enter Brimhaven you will be prompted to release it. If you drop it somewhere you will not be able to finish the quest. I just made it a quest item (something I should have done originally), so now you can't sell it, so you will always be able to go and get it again.
